Finally got some decent times 10.556@138.88 on E85

I installed a Borg Warner s366 no so long ago and I was able to take the car to a track yesterday.
My best was
60ft 1.74
1/4 10.556
1/4mph 138.88

The car is running 32psi max on E85
My best mph was a bit better 139.31
This is btw on all season tires, I need to get some tires this winter and see if I can improve my 60ft.

Thanks.

Oh and btw forgot to mention that here in Iceland we do not have a dyno, so the tuning is only done on the road/track.

Nice Gudmundur! Glad to hear you got it running good.

Send me some pics of the car if you remember and give me a call one of these days.

Hey Gudmundur, this is Kris; we met at the Shootout. Are you able to get E85 locally or are you importing it? I know we had talked about it at Outback on Sunday and there was a question of what kind of fuel you'd be running due to availability.

I'm glad the E85 is working out for you.

Wow nice MPH's!! Get that 60ft down to a 1.5 and you will be low 10's no problem at all!!!
1.55 60ft for me went 10.26 @139 .. 1.59 60ft went 10.32@138.. by just dropping your 60ft down to even just a 1.6 you should be able to get those times forsure!!

Nice times.. Put up some pic's of your setup!!

Mark

Congratulations, gudmunder! I'm with Kris, how did you end up sourcing E85 up there?

Well I got a hold of a 200 liter drum over here which a company imported.
I am looking at trying to import some myself this winter, probably from Sweden or something.

I know that I can get quite a bit lower into the 10's with cutting down my 60ft.
And I am looking into running some Drag radials and I hope I will be able to source some help with my suspension setup, plus minor weight reduction. I should work on a weight reduction on myself though

I am also looking at taking the car to Sweden or Norway this winter to be able to tune on a dyno.

I am not sure about the weight but I am guessing it is around 3400lbs, but I am going to weight it soon.

Boost peaked at 31,5psi

My mods are
Built shortblock
Stock head with Kiggly springs and retainers
Jun 272 cams
Shearer T3 manifold
Shearer Downpipe
Borg Warner s366 turbo
O2 housing custom built
Magnus street intake manifold
Stock throttle body
2,5" intercooler piping
Buschur racing race fmic
Bosch style 1600cc injectors
Magnus fuel rail
Aeromotive a1000 fuel pump
Shep built transmission
Sparktech COP

Regarding the weight
Removed that AC from the car
Robispec carbon hood and trunk
Girodisc two piece brake rotors
Added Autopower roll bar
Plus that I am a pretty big guy and that adds quite some to the weight

I am thinking about changing my Intake manifold to one of Wilsons and as well going for a ported throttle body, and like I said in an earlier post need to find some drag radials that work with a 17" wheel, I heard that M/T has a 17/45/225 Drag radial tire.. might look into that.

Nice set-up and good job w/ the ET/MPH

How about some pics just for kicks

Yes the only DR's for 17's would be the Nitto's or BFG if you can get them as a direct fit.
