Since these have proven to pull a 1.4 and even a 1.3 60' that's not far out of reach im sure, Just make sure your drivetrain will take the shock of a launch like that, Hope you get your goal GL!!!!!

2 of mine beaded up fine and 2 refuse, they have a spot in each that stay bunched under the rim...100psi didn't work and they blew off the rim. Not sure what to do about that.

Make sure the inside hump in the rim is lubed as well. If they wont get past that leave them sitting in the sun for a while with pressure in them and they will probably pop up.

I tried both, even tried straps to get them to buldge out instead of up. A friend of mine saw me at the track last night and asked me to take them to him since he mounts difficult slicks all the time. I'm getting a new set of daily driver wheels/tires soon so that'll free up another set of stock rims to do this and in them mean time I'll keep racing on the BFG DR's

With good track prep your BFG's will be good for low 1.5's.. my best on them is a 1.51.. Track condition and psi makes a huge difference..

10.4 with a 1.68 can easily be a 10.2 with a 1.58 60ft ..

I agree, my first two passes I didn't do a burnout...just rolled up and spun my *** down the track... The third I rolled through and out of the water, stopped, tached it to the moon and let a rip, it helped quite a bit. I'll resume experimenting with mounting the slicks soon after I get another set of rims. That ought to help quite a bit vs the BFG

I have had my best luck at 18-20 psi in the tire.. even with out a burnout they hook pretty good at that pressure..

I started at 20psi on the street once figuring it was the worst condition possible... I worked my way down to 15psi and it finally started finding some traction so I've always started there at the track. I think my 2-step is too high for the new found power but my logger cable died so I couldn't do anything about it on the fly

It's not really all that much more for a set-up like mine once you factor in having to have another set of wheels for the MT motorcycle slicks.

Mine was:
Willwoods - 900
Rotas - 400
QTP's - 600

If you can sell the oem Brembo's for say $400 then it's not that much more plus you still have a set of stock wheels/tires for cruising.

Now when will someone try stuffing a 275/40 MT DR on their Evo.......i've seen some on an STI before.

I was going to try out the MT motorcycle slicks before i went w/ the QTP's but wasn't sure about fitment and also about the over rolling dia and my engines rev limit.

What do you guys cross the traps at w/ those on?

I use them a lot of times and they handle great on high speeds and the grip in the 60ft is crazy.Recently I cut 1.44,1.45 and 1.46 on BVP Evo X 10.7, in PR The Blue Evo X that did 10.9 I cut 1.42 and in Speedclub MR I cut 1.36 , 1.37 and 1.39 This Tires are cheap and the work really great.
