That launch is insane. WOW
well, just like any engineered product, they do have a safety factor included in the testing. Something as critical as tires, its probably 3 or 4.
Also, the fact that so many people are running them without issue shows they are capable.

You will always find a Safety Sally amongst the group.. LOL the same people who worry about the tires, or not having a cage should all have driveshaft loops and Scattershields but they dont.. I have seen Flywheels cut thru a cars firewall and cars flip over w/o the loop.. its a dangerous game we all play..

I tried to go with the most "legal" way of doing things with the small brakes, extended studs, etc but you still have to use a spacer of some sort to get almost any 15/16 wheel to fit ......... trust me it's not the most cost effective way of doing things but tires choice and weight savings is a nice thing to have.
Now for a car that sees mainly the track i can see the need but for my car i think if the M/C slicks do their job at the track i can live on the edge a bit while putting the cash towards other essential mods that have been put off.
1.4 60fts is good enough proof for me
I love them, infact, I actually own a set myself. I run them at about 15 psi and they hold up great. Just a littlw scary when the car bounces on them at 140 and it sounds like ur getting air! And the turnoff isnt much fun either! But they work GREAT for a street car with High HP!
This is how they look on 17x7 inch rims.

I ran a 10.48 @ 133.94 and I only managed a 1.55 60' guess I need more practice.

To give you an idea as to the weight savings the stock wheel/tire combo weighed 42lbs. on my bathroom scale while this combo tipped the scale @ 29lbs.
That's a total of 52lbs. of rotating mass.

I haven't tried the MT slicks yet...got some new DD wheels/tires recently and will be mounting the slicks soon.
