High Definition Video Last TNT session of the year in Memphis

I didn't get the EVO fixed in time to make the last outing of the year after busting the tranny a month ago but I shot some good footage this weekend for my forum www.racevideoforums.com Sorry no EVOs but a little bit of everything else.

thanks, I spent a full day filming in the 30* windy weather and the full next day editing/rendering/uploading...each 10 minute clip was 450mb when I was done.

I'm using the Sony HD-SR11 on it's highest setting which is 1080i HD, then pulling the clips into Sony Vegas 8.0 and rendering them at 720 HD. I uploaded them in 1080 and I couldn't detect any improvement at youtube or streetfire and the file size was bigger. Streetfire also didn't size it correctly so it was sqeezed.

I'm planning on doing all of my future videos this way. It's also being caputured with dolby 5.1 surround. When I watch them before uploading I can hear people behind me talking etc...not sure if it's knocked down to simple stereo by youtube and streetfire or not.

OK, so I have to ask- when are you planning on making/selling your first DVD?

I've given it some thought over the years but just haven't pursued it, I'm busy as a bee with other things.

I did notice that Vegas 8 can burn to a Blue Ray DVD, I don't have a Blue Ray recorder on my computer right now, but how cool would that be to watch full HD on Blue Ray on a big screen at 1080
