Too many variables. You can fit vtec motors in many different honda chassis and that car could weigh 2000lbs and run 11's in the 1/4 mile. My money would be on the evo though.

i have an evo 8 with just over 300 to the wheels. have ran against my buddies built rsx with spray. without the nos, its not even a contest, however, with the bottle on it was a little closer. like above poster said, depends on the car and the driver bc hondas are light, but completely different beasts. I would take an evo personally hands down all day, but then again I hate FWD and since i am on EVOm i tend to be biased! why are you asking if you dont mind??

Are yout talking track or street? I have raced many hondas on the track with turbos, NOS, slicks etc. a couple even trailered in..I have had no close races with hondas. One was a hatch gutted k20 w/nitrous..stomped.. If you can launch your car well 1.8- 1.6 60 ft times you should have no problem beating it. unless you shift like crap.

Lots of variables, but the evo will be quicker most likely. I had a 2400# type r with a 75 shot, header, exhaust, and intake and it went 13.2@106 every pass-FYI. An evo as described will definitely be faster unless one of the thousands of variables like poor driver come into play...

My evo is pushing roughly 300 whp. My buddy's 91 civic hatch with B20 vtec, jackson supercharger, and supporting mods. Evenly matched in 1/4 mile. His car is so damn light.

i had a 03 civic si hatch witch came with the "crappy" version of the K-series motor (k20a3 witch doesnt even have a real vtech, and has 40ish less chp than the k20a2) and i had a few bolt ons (header, test pipe, cat back, pullies, intake) with a 100 shot.

the mods you describe on the evo are probably capable of 300whp and 12sec passes... honestly all motors engine w/ compression over 11.0 (i.e., k20a2 from the 02 rsx-s, k20z1 05rsx-s, and the h22a1 94 prelude) can all make a under 2000lbs car i.e. early 90's crx or civic hatch run at least a 12 sec pass... more than likely the k20a2 in crx is known for low to mid 11 sec passes... so listen at the track for the high lobe kicking in in the mid to high range to determine whether they engine swapped or not...

Your honda will have to be stripped to **** and be in a EG hatch... Ive had LS-Vtec, GSR, JRSC-GSR, SC61-GSR built setups... All motor hondas are very nice but won't get you "there" as quick as others but will rev damn high.

Instead of a all motor setup spend probably half of what you are thinking and build a turbo setup and demolish any evo you come across. I'd take my Si over my Evo any day if I still had it
