Deep 12s in the evo.

Im getting deep into the 12s now with my first run under 12.37 on my evo. I am hoping to soon have three 11 second cars. At the current time I am waiting for my drag radials to come in and hopefully improve my time. Here are my times.
R/T-.573
60'-1.796
330'-5.174
1/8- 7.573
mph-89.3
1000'-10.274
1/4-12.279
MPH-114.73
what do you think of those times?

Turbobars21 - I was wondering where you got your AEM cold air intake from? You have any pics you can post? Also what type of engine management are you using?

Congrats on the run, very nice. By the way was this on pump gas?

Tubrobars21, where did you run your car at? I live south of atlanta and would like to watch you run it. Mine is still stock but

Tell us more about your tune and boost. Also, you opened up the engine to swap pistons, but didn't put in cams? What engine management are you using?

I cut slightly better 60' times on the stock clutch (1.777), but you ate me up by almost 7mph in the 1/8th. I'm still running the stock intake and BOV though, which is causing me all kinds of problem (soon to be rectified).

Please, tell us more!

I run on my private track. Where exactly are you located tracer? My track is private and no oneknows the location cuz it is in the middle of nowhere lol. I should have put my cams in too I agree, but it slipped my mind. I can't post pics no camera or anything. Ill keep you posted if I get anything to post pics with. It is running on race fuel.

why would you put lower compression pistons in without cams???? Why would you tear open the engine before putting a full catback in. Again why open the engine when you could do so much more to make the car faster. And what the hell is engine management system? It just sounded fishy thats all...

LOW COMPRESSION PISTONS=ABILITY TO RUN HIGH BOOST..... Engine management is to monitor the enigne for defects and overheating ,etc. it also adds hp by leveling all the things in the engine how they should be. Does it sound fishy now. I also already said i put a full catback exhaust system with headers(hks) which delivers most horsepower gains.

hahaha, dood i know what all those things do. You just simply state low compression pistons, instead of saying what brand and c/r. you say engine management without saying what kind... there are tons out for the evo. And a full catback is not the same as a turbo back. Oh and since you have HEADERS instead of a turbo manifold, that explains why I said this sounded fishy.
