Evo on the 1/8
Here's the results from my first time on the strip. It was an 1/8 mile strip. Temp was about 79-80F w/ 60% humidity. I was doing 5500~6000 rpm launches while quickly feathering the clutch. Probably a half tank of gas, Works reflash and Exhale. 93octane Elevation 380'
1st run:
60 ft 1.985
330 ft 5.936
594 ft 8.592
1/8 ET 9.168
1/8 MPH 78.13
2nd gear grinded on this run.
2nd run:
60 ft 1.944
330 ft 5.833
594 ft 8.453
1/8 ET 9.033
1/8 MpH 77.60
3rd run: (tried to launch quicker by letting clutch out faster, but she bogged a little)
60 ft 2.003
330 ft 5.892
594 ft 8.486
1/8 ET 9.052
1/8 MPH 79.49
Is this a bad day or decent? There was an SRT-4 with slicks running 8.5xx. He said he had some computer work done but didn't elaborate.
I think I could have broke into 8.9xx if I didn't bog on the 3rd run. Maybe next time. Any tips or advice? After looking at someone elses timeslips with a Works reflash mine suck out loud! Just as comparison my buddies 2003 Z06 ran a 8.5(6) can't remember which.
