Weather conditions maybe? More humid or hot day could run a little slower?

Its the moose in pink boxer shorts sleeping at the 1/8th mile mark.

At first i would always hit it too, but then i learned to just use my bond car powers to sprout wings and fly over it.

Honestly, i have no idea dude.
Take a look at your AFR over RPM range and practice different shift points? I understand EVO runs really rich up top and loses boost, but at 300whp im assuming everything is tuned up properly, so im really at a loss here!

Good luck

That is really weird, I have seen faster stock times. what is your consistant average. My average is 13.7, but a guy I raced was 14.0 average. Both stock his was just slower, it could be shifting at different points or some cars just have bigger ***** dunno

He had a 1.7sec 60'. If his clutch was an issue it would have shown there big time.

Either you got a factory runt, you're not totally used to the car yet or a combination of the two. Those are my 'most likelies". Can't wait to see how bad I suck when I finally track my car.

i'm in the same boat.. my best is 13.20 at 103 (pretty funny that it's exactly the same)!

i was running 1.7-1.8 60fts each time too..

however, i don't have a downpipe/test pipe yet (see mods in sig)..

i also ran the most conservative settings on the SAFC2... the reason for that is that my SAFC2 erased the 2 files i got tuned the night before (i got a 93oct tuning and 100oct tuning done)!!.. they were just gone!! i've since noticed that i cannot keep any settings in the file#2... they disappear as soon as you go out of the setting mode and go back in.. i've heard this is a common issue now with the new SAFC2.. i should make a thread about it and see how many are having the same issue... oh, and i also ran 19.5 psi... and this was on 100oct gas in the tank..

on the very last run i decided to up the boost to 22 and got a 104.7mph trap instead (of course the only run where i screw up the launch and bogged! argh! so i only ran 13.4)..

anyhow, i think if i get the downpipe/test pipe (currently have stock dp/cat) and the correct tuning files i should be in the upper 12's and have 106mph+ traps.. and if i get the cams and intake 12.5@109 like my friend bill's evo8 does with the same mods as me but with those things added..

i sure hope i don't have a weak engine.. i havent dyno'd, so i'm not sure... i doubt it though.. i think it's just a matter of tuning and getting my top end mods in (cams/dp/tp/intake are all major topend mods)

what exactly are your mods, btw?

my installed mods are:
Buschur 3" turbo back, Blitz SBC ID, RMR intake, Greddy Type S and SAFC tuned by Pruven Performance 293whp 19.5psi and 93 octane mobile gas...im pretty sure with the 116 octane gas i ran on my 3rd pass i have 300+whp...
if i dont get at least a low 12 or better on my next stage of upgrades im gonna sell my car
btw my next mods are hks cams 272 int+exh, pruven performance intercooler, bushur polished intake pipe and maybe a 50 shot but i dont know if i want to nos it

Did you raise the boost when you put in the 116 octane? If not then what's the point of putting in the race gas? Put in the 116, raise your boost, you'll see 12s...easy.
