The top end so far seems to hold up well till 8k. Against a properly setup HTA 35R setup the red shouldn't stand a chance over 7,000 Rpms.

Np. If you look very closely at the side view picture on page 1 you can see there is a larger wheel gap in the front then the rear.

I thought on how you could make your two step boost more consistent is to play with the ignition advance and fueling at your launch rpm/load. Just a thought

Imagine the fun you'd have at my race weight! Sure wouldnt have any problem beating 12sec Colts lol

What do you realistically expect to get out of transmission life with this new found power? Sorry if this was discussed somewhere in this novel lol.

Also how does Desoto speedway let you run without kicking you out. Supposably I need 5point harness, fire jacket, and roll bars in addition with my helmet to run anymore and Im only in the 11s.

I honestly expect the transmission to hold all the way into the mid 9's. It was a private track event that day so they were very lenient.

Ryu once again very nice job so far with such a nice bare-bones set-up.

Keep it up

With the set-up as is what kinda max mph do you expect to see as it seems to be the right size turbo for my set-up to keep me at the 135mph range to keep me from putting a full cage in it.

I really like my 35r set-up but once it makes a proper pass i think it may breach the et and mph limit at the track.

With my current setup I am hoping to reach 133-134mph. Last time I was at the track there was a 17mph headwind so I am sure that hurt me by 1mph and since then have gained 30whp/30wtq through the midrange. In the end calculations are just calculations until live testing is done. With a built motor, ported head, and maxing out the turbo I would like to be able to reach 137mph along with a 9.9 ET before attempting any plans of going bigger.

That sounds about what i'd like to eventually set-up as i already have a built shortblock but still unported head and it will be run on E85.

I think it would make a great street/strip warrior!

Hope there is still a market for a Shearer 35r kit
