Yesterday was one heck of a day. Unfortunately I did not hit my 10.3-10.4 goal. The car is most definitely capable, the driver and clutch were the weak links yesterday along with a 15mph headwind
. My best 60ft of the day was a 1.61 but regrettably I was locked out of 4th on that run along with at least half of my runs yesterday. Most definitely time for a new Exedy Twin clutch kit. All and all not too bad for a brand new never dialed in setup and an uncooperative clutch.
I will be going back in April to another private track event with a few changes to the setup that should allow for more power and hopefully better 60ft's.

Thanks. It's simply going to take more seat time. Launching with the Red is completely different then launching the car with the stock turbo.
Normal 15k maintenance. The faster the car gets the less often I seem to beat on it.

With the stock turbo I was able to rev up to the 2step and let the clutch out with over 10psi. With the Red it takes longer to build boost so the launch technique is completely different launching at the desired boost level. If I don't stay on the 2step long enough I bog and if I stay on it too long I spin. It's going to have to take some practice to get the timing just right again.
