Just got word from Javier. There was an excellent turnout at the event and we could not be happier. Without the support of Exedy, Forced Performance, Magnus, ECMlink, Spark Tech, Millspec, Avid, JNZ Tuning, etc this never would have been a big as it was. We had just under 3,000 spectators, over 240 racers, and 54 cars in the car show. Not too bad for an event that the haters said would "fail". E-town was so happy with the turnout that they are already asking about next year. Plans are in the works and it will definitely be bigger and better. We will be doing it when the weather is cooler. Thank you too everyone that made this possible and too everyone that attended. Hope to see you all next year. We will be making a thread with the results as soon as E-town sends then to me.

My vote would be to make it some time around March or April. I mean how else should we kick off the 2010 race season? And it would also be a lot cooler weather wise. This also give us ample time to prepare for both major dsm/evo races. I think the turn out would be a lot better for both events as well.
Everyone wins.

March/ April weather is good but it seems events that early in the year dont work out well because a lot of guys still dont have their cars done and sorted out. An end of year event would be better.

It will definetly be nicer if its not as hot as it was, I was sweating my *** off out there. It would be cool to have an Evo only day so it won't take so long to race. Thanks again for putting on an awesome showdown, see you next year!

Do any of these cars that ran this event want to run in the hot rod class at e-town on Oct 3-4?
