BFG drag radial what psi to run?

Hey guys i just got some Bfg 225/45/17 drag radials and i was wondering what psi do you run them at?

We've had good results at 25 psi on an 8.5" wheel. I think it would be a good place to start, at least.

Thanks for the info. But what is the lowest psi you have taken these tires to?

I pulled a 1.52 sixty on mine with about 21 psi hot in them. I don't think you really need to go lower then that but could go as low as 14-15 psi without any issue.

remember sidewalls are softer then reg street tires so dont go to low psi or car will sway up top.of course it depends how fast your car is.At 140ish traps and anything below 20 psi it can happen.
