What are your 1/8th mile MPHs? If you have some passes to back those up and the big end increase is reasonable, then I dont see any reason why the 166 isn't legit.

Great job..I'm sure ya'll will have no issue backing up that 166mph pass. What rpm are ya'll stringing this beast out too?

In the second pass we ran 9.2@157 because of two reason car spun like crazy (literaly white smoke coming out of the tires see the video) and in mid 4th gear 2 injectors failed and the headgasket came out. Watch both you will guys will see...

I hit the rev limit on almost every gear on the 9.2 pass but that is my problem, I need to work on that. Still working on getting use to the car...

That is part of racing everybody knows that... The cars come in from Puerto Rico next week we will put it back together and go back to race. That is what we do.

JVela what is fishy about 166mph with 1000whp you run 162mph with 880whp... Both cars are running strong and eventually both us will break our personal records...

Your car is running strong just like ours, so be happy about us like we are when you accomplish your goals....

Don't get me wrong, I am extremelly happy when someone makes or accomplish a great run with great result and when it is made on fair condition. In this case what gets my attention is that your car made 5.9 in the 1/8 with a good 1.40 in the sixty foot and made 9.0 with 166. Now, I have two runs on my car with the same sixty foot like you did, the same 1/8 like you did and only made 156MPH and did 9.03 and 9.01.How come you did almost the exact time in the sixty, in the 1/8 and in the 1/4 with 166MPH and end doing almost the same time I did with 10 MPH less. Then at the next pass same night you did 157MPH. the same MPH you have done in Orlando in more than 6 time and in all of that occations you had 1000whp. That is my point, remember I enjoy and celebrates a good and clean pass when is done right and fair, I am the first who celebrate because I do my own mechanics on my car and I buy all the part on my own and I REALLY knows how hard is to get a car to run fast. So when someone achive a graet run I will ever enjoy that run the same or more when I do my own. Good luck on your come back!!

Times don't have anything to do with mile an hour, you need to learn that...

In our Civic we run 6.2 in the 1/8th @ 128mph how you explain that....

AMS has gone 8.97 @ 165mph
English Racing 8.99 @ 166mph
Buschur Racing 9.09 @ 165mph
what's the difference or is that fishy as well...

Large Turbo race cars are really tricky with the Launch and shifting that is why a lot a people have switch to smaller turbo. But we want to stick to what we have and go for the fences...

The 9.2 back up pass wasn't my best driving; between spinning, controlling the car and gasket coming out we can't say it was normal conditions hahahaha....

Going to a track that you haven't race before takes time to get use to it, and even more if you are still getting used to the car...

Remember this that was my 10th pass in the Car and 1-2nd pass in the track. (not having a clue of how it hooks, where it ends, etc, etc...)

here is the link of the 9.2

http://www.grs-motorsports.com/notic...lle/sss/97.wmv

Salinas Speedway in Puerto Rico doesn't not print out 1/8th of the mile trap speeds...

But don't worry the car will be here next week, we are going to resurface the head put a new head gasket, and go to the track have some fun... THAT IS WHAT IS ALL ABOUT...

Sincerely

Serge@CFT

I just want to say Congrats to CFT regardless.. The car is moving.. I consider you guys our friends.. Still at the end of the day you must assume people will question that type of MPH.. especially since Every run previous was under 160mph.. the car could go 8.7 and nobody would question it..

If i am not mistaken the next closest car to run 166+mph was Paul Nelson with over 1000whp and a gutted single ply sardine can..

Like you said Serge.. Throw a new gasket on there and go back out and back up the time to quiet down the non Believers.. Thats all you can do.. Regardless of what track you run at next the mph should still be there.. Good luck!!

Thanks buddy...

You are definately right, what we are going to do is as soon as the cars come in from PR. we will go to the track and shut up the haters...

Then after that the we will put the 26's, VP Import, the new turbo, shave the 300lbs we are overweight (car weighs 2915 with me in it), and then the Bottle...

Imagine what is going to happen there is a lot more for improvement...

Thanks for the support and props

Sincerely

Every previous run was under 160mph do to problem with the old Transmition or some other factors, but now that Rolo and Sergio found what was wrong. I know for sure that we are going to run 8's @ 166 and nobody is going to question it..
