SPARK TECH Bounty on the next EVO in the 8s!
I know this is off topic but may be a little motivation for you guys because i know you all can out drive me and have the cars to hit 8's. Im moving away from drag racing and doing a lot more road racing and rally lately. I figured its summer and if i blow something up ill have time to fix it before nationals come around.

switched to e85 may go back to pump and meth with a race gas tune standing by since i drive this car a lot went to slicks instead of drag radials and turned the boost up.I think that's all the car has in it right now but driving a 8 second car to and from the track feels good.
I hope everyone's car is in one piece! also is there like a consolation prize.. can i have a sparktech toaster or something haha
This was in a 87 regal t-type btw.

Congrats Keith on your runner up finish for the event. A 9.0 in eliminations is much more impressive than hero runs on a test and tune night. Hardware, prize money, and a car that still runs after the event... very cool. Now clip that 8 this week
.
.
A 9.0 on a legal NHRA track is impressive no matter what night of the week it is or how many people are watching. It's not like running 12's....
Congrats on the solid consistent runs Keith. Its amazing how fast and consistent these evo's are becoming. Lots of great competetion... Good luck on your next outing. We say these numbers so easy now I think a bunch of people forget how dangerous it is at this level. So for that, I'm glad the car and you guys are safe as well.
Love to see the vids too.

Brian, running that 9.0 is just a perk of the day. When you race this weekend and go rounds, or go 8's I will give you the same respect. I think it's pretty damn impressive during the heat of the battle to do this. You know on test and tune days you can short stage to get an ET, and have plenty of time to get the job done. Stop taking everything so personal, not everything is about you. Now go get that 8 this week.

Obviously after this post you had me in mind the whole time or you would'nt have responded directly to me. It shows your lack of class.
And yeah, running a 9.0@157 on a Friday night, first pass ever, with 87 degree weather, 75% humidity, DA of 1804 deserves no respect. Get a hold of yourself and act your age. Then backing it up with another 9.0 and then a 9.2. OK Indy, I really hope I go 8.90's during the day during an event to win your respect... ROTFLMAO...
Now go get that 11 this week
Sorry guys I didn't manage the 8 second pass this week. Mike and I will be at the event on Sunday for another attempt.
Tempers will always flare during TIGHT competition. Lets keep the thread on topic.
8.99 or bust
This competition is ALIVE...
The Top Dogs are gunning for one thing

I'll be giving it another shot on Sunday during a "LIVE EVENT"... LOL...
