So let me ask you.. did you verify on TTR orange car that he had..

Driveshaft loop
Steel Valvestems
Extended Wheel studs
Neck brace
Gloves & FIre suit up to SFI Spec and dates
Legit Seat Belts

Craig you want me to go on and on?? Do you even know everything that needs to be on a an 8 sec car to meet NHRA rules?? If you want to run a Biased Bounty just say " we will only accept Sparktech approved vehicles ".. DOnt leave rules open to everyone if your going to find an excuse to not let someone win it..

no need to get nasty it was a simple question. Since you stated you were within rules.

9 second bounty will probably not require a chute, chutes are required over 150 mph, it certainly doesn't take 150 mph to run 9's.

I don't think Mike was nasty or out of line in any way. I just think he wants to be a part of a fair competition whether he uses your ignition or abc's ignition.

The list of safety requirements to run 8's is extensive and I asked for clarification earlier in the thread Mike, don't waste your time. The rules are, "Craig says". It's much like "Simon says" just listen carefully and do kind of what the rulebook says but you don't have to do it all, kind of just enough so nobody making up an bounty isn't sued by someone who wrecks trying to get the bounty, or something like that. hahaha

As I stated earilier 99% of the cars that signed up for this list wouldn't pass a real NHRA inspection.

I have to agree, the rules are too loose for this and it's helping this continue to be nothing but a problem here. So bye.

Thats correct and I never saw a video of TTR's 8 second pass to say if he had a parachute at the NHRA track Etown??

Craig were you there to verify this since there is no video??

We were assured by Turbotrix their car met nhra rules and was 8sec certified. We are also still awaiting video on his pass.

For the upcoming 9sec Bounty Safety rules would be clearer.

E-town is extremely strict with tech and every time we run the car we have all the required safety equipment. The car has a certified 9 second cage, chute, window net, driveshaft loop, fire system, 5 point belts, cut off switch, I have a 9 second license, pants, jacket, neck collar, gloves, etc. Unfortunately I was at the track by myself and did not have anyone to film. We made some phone calls to other people who were there to see if anyone has the video. If we cannot produce the video by Wed night then we will gladly open back up the competition. Rules are rules.

The car went 8's and that is all that matters. Winning the Bounty was just icing on the cake. Guess I will just have to go out and try to win it again.

Keith thanks for chiming in. It looks like I might have jumped the gun by announcing the winner. I thought you had video and it would have been available sooner. I understand you went to the track alone and are trying to track down video. Maybe announce it at the track and offer a bounty for video-Turbotrix splits prize with holder of video of said 8sec pass. Keith we all know you have run 8s and we are confident you can do it again. Congrats on getting the monkey off your back. Now please get me video

Rule # 4. Proof of run is required i.e. Time Slips & Video.

At the end of this competition we will be using video of every contenders pass (if supplied) to make a video similar to this one 8sec Bounty
