FP Red @ the track
EDIT: BACK TO THE TRACK
06-26-2009
I spent plenty of time at the track last night and I was able to feel the car out this go around.
Mods are the same --> https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/au...-85-dynod.html
With a more aggressive cam and some better driving this beast will go high 10's w/ minimal mods
Timeslip:
60' 1.647
330 4.830
1/8 7.430
MPH 95.58
1000 9.613
1/4 11.455
MPH 124.91
06-14-2009
Upset with my driving to say the least. I was only at the track for about an hour and had to make the most of it. The way I showed up was the way I ran. Full weight, full interior and all. I didn't even have time to mess with tire pressures.
Tires: All season Conti's 245/45/17 @ 30psi hot
Mods: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/au...-85-dynod.html
Slip 1:
60' 1.797
330 5.058
1/8 7.693
MPH 96.05
1000 9.932
1/4 11.795
MPH 120.54
Slip 2:
60' 1.777
330 5.034
1/8 7.659
MPH 96.45
1000 9.886
1/4 11.738
MPH 121.25
Those were the 2 best of 5 passes I ran today. With a 121 MPH I'm confident this car can do a low 11, but as of right now, I still feel like I'm in stock turbo territory Til next time, where's those 11 sec avatars?

Very cool, WannaRace! I remember your other thread and was waiting to see how you did. I forget, are you on a stock clutch? I assume not but forget what was mentioned previously. I think your times are good for the first time out. Best of luck next time!

Congrats on 11's, but IMHO, 121mph on E85 is slow for the FP Red, and trap speeds have nothing to do with driving skills.
I'm the world's worst driver, and I've trapped 122mph on my Green on 93 + Meth, stock cams, 30psi, and that was making 400whp on a Mustang Dyno. And I'm a fat guy in a full weight IX SSL.
Your trap speed definitely matches up to your dyno chart, but that car seems a good 40-50whp and 6-7mph down on power.
This also trumps the idea that AMS's DynoJet reads low... 458whp and 121mph on AMS's DynoJet compared to 400whp and 122mph on a Mustang. I also have a friend with GT35R, 93 only, making 500whp on Big Al's DynoJet and trapping 124mph.

Driving skills will affect trap speeds. A customer was at GLD with his 30R car running under 110 mph multiple times. I hopped in the car and went 119 mph bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th gear because of the low rev limiter and small tires.
