A quick cage question. Pics would be awesome.
Nice I like, the only thing I would want different like I said is trying to make the c pillar bars go around the door frame. Also about the halo, yes I know a pillar bars are going to be needed. I was just wanting to see what most 135 users were using. I have a strong feeling my car will go faster than 135 and dont want to get booted after 1 or 2 passes but also want to drive my car on the street more often than not. Having a car like this and not driving it is like having a ***** and not boning
i hear what your saying.you can run a pillar bar through dash or in front of it.looks cleaner if you go through dash.135 u need full certified cage theres no in between there.i usaully make a pilar bar from front corner of roof down instead of a single pipe that comes from b pillar to a pilar and down to floor.it makes it easier to weld and your able to tuck it in tighter.i also do rear bars tight to door frame so it doesnt intere with use of rear seats.
Thats almost what Im shooting for, post up the fronts too man.
I almost dont want the rear bars showing in the window...i want to stay sleeper and legit. Any thoughts of covering the bars with something that wont smash your head with in case you get into an accident
That harness bar would knock out some teeth lol, it all looks awesome though..

You know it's not to be doing excessive speed with people in back even though If they wear there seat belts they should be fine I have to find more pic's I have around there I'll post them up when I find them.
Sharkbite - Very nice interior you got!
The "D" bars i was talking about are actually the bars that go from the vertical bars of the main hoop that triangulate and attach to the floor right about where your feet go.....underneath the harness bar.
And yes i was going to bend my rear bars similar to yours however even when we measured many times and mocked up a piece w/ me in the back there was no way in hell i would be able to fit in there safely. lol
You can see a piece of it here:

I'll be going to a 10 pt sometime after the shootout.
Yes I feel as though the decision will be the right one for sure, now I just need to find someone around here to either bend the tubing for me or put it in. I would rather do it myself cause there are a few things that I would like to accomplish, but i dont have a bender
Put it over your knee, and grunt!!
