Bone Stock IX RS, times from last night

no, its not a 9 or 8 sec evo but i was pretty impressed with my stock RS

thanks for the tips Raif if you see this!

anyways, the track i went to was Lebanon valley Dragway. it rained so hard last wedensday and they were 4ft under water, but they cleared it up. it was dusty as schit and nobody was getting traction.

my best pass of the was a 13.124 @103.1 followed by a 13.128@102.95

the track temp was 97.7*F so it was scroching.

i'm going to run it again ethier next week or the following week when i order my buschur shifter bushing and front motor mount.

oh, here is a breakdown of the slip
1.888 60'
5.396 330'
8.351 1/8
81.91 1/8 mph
10.939 1000'
13.124 1/4
103.10 1/4 mph

i was very impressed at how well the car was running in this heat.

i'm sure if it was cooler and the track wasn't an absolute mess i would be able to do a 12.8 pass.

also, best 60ft was a 1.79 on goodyear f1 all seasons.

Good to see that you have a strong running car to start with.

The usual first round of mods and a tune should knock almost a full second off your et.!!

Good luck with your mission!

good time for stock.. Now that you have the base line of how the car runs, get a few bolt on's and a tune. run skip 12 seconds and get straight to the 11's !

Your car will go faster all stock. just wait few more weeks till the track gets better you will go 12.8 to 12.90s all day long.
I have never seen a tack that dusty in my life, it took 3hr to clean my car today lol, it looked like I came back form a rally race.

Get 2-step and feather off the launch, don't just pop the clutch or you risk hurting your transfer case (t-case)

Enjoy the car

get some more time in, let the temps drop and then get the car tuned...while still being bone stock. i've seen these cars pick up 20-30whp just from a tune and staying completely stock due to the factory running them so damn rich. i would imagine you could get it down to a 12.5 or 12.6 completely stock with a tune!

heres a picture of the car from about 15min ago. wish i hd track pics, but my buddy did take a video though.

next time i'll take some pics.

i'm going to wait a couple weeks till the track gets better then i'm gonna try once more for that 12.8-12.9 pass.

if it doesn't do it, then it doesn't do it, i'm satisfied with the 13.1 pass but a 12 sec slip bone stock will be awesome.
