^^^what's the point of comment's like that? You are really just tipping your nose; nothing good comes from that comment(with all due respect to you ernie, they aren't going to pull the trailer over because they haven't lived up to your race prep checklist)

I feel bad that DG motors is getting ripped like this because of buying the U. S. mph record for an evo. It sucks and i'm sure they are almost wishing they bought some other turn key race car or just built one on their own; as then they would get evo-m internet cred(aka street cred)

Let the guys race for the love of god, let them break/tune/slip/red light/60ft/trap/break/tune again/do a head gasket/change the rear housing/race, then let's ask them about their integrity!

Good luck DG motors

What correction do you run on your dyno? 850 whp on a DD should be like a 1000 whp on Dynojet.

I would be the car would pull 900+ on a dyno jet easy..

On all your other post you say you are running 1.0, here you are posting you run a 1.1 correction factor... Which is it?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you will need at least another 100whp to trap 170+mph like Dave did.
Guess we will see!
Good luck

Unfortunately I won't be able to go. I have some big jobs getting trailed in, one being from Canada and I need to be here no excuses. My driver, Mechanic, and Father will be on there way 5p.m tonight to make the journey from Long Island, New York to Ohio. The car will be at Norwalk's Saturday morning time trials to get the car semi dialed in and prepped for the race.

Last night we stayed late (2 A.M) to maximize our tune. That is done and it's now up to our driver to get the car down the track.

Sorry, no information about what's on the car.

Here is a dyno sheet from where we started and finished last night. I am only showing dyno plots from where the car's power band will be at the track.

This cars new tune, etc will still make over 725whp at 10,000rpm! We were pulling it to 9,500rpm on the dyno in 4th gear.

See everyone at the track!

We are showing up prepared and ready to race. I will be here running the show over the weekend. We will see what happens! See you all there!
Best wishes and be safe. But the most important thing is to HAVE FUN....

Quick ?? Why the loss of power up top. Do you think its turbo/cam combo or tuning?

Anyway that’s plenty hp to play good luck to you guys out there.

Glad to hear you guys are coming to get the car on the track. There is no test and tune on Saturday though, it's a full race schedule. Very busy there on Saturdays.

Stop by the shop for the show and dyno competition, love to see what it's making for power! Going to throw Mike from AWD's car on our dyno today too at the show!

See you guys soon.

Unless the turbo's been changed, that's only a T3 on there dogbox, pretty good looking power/curve if you ask me.

Gotcha, that would explain the choke

DG throw a back pressure probe on her. If its high open it up with a bigger hot side and she should fly up top. Hey the flip side is dyno just a starting point the track will tell the story.

Maybe let trent drive the car or one of buschur's drivers if your driver doesn't work out so we can see a record pass? Anyway good luck to all parties involved.

Good luck
Its really hard to draw any rational and objective predictions as the former Buschur Drag Evo was perhaps the most gutted and light weight car of them all. With such a light weight machine the power needed to get down the track is much lower. Comparing that kind of car to the cars we are used to tuning is not a valid comparison.

Either way, its good to see them out with the car and attending the DSM Shootout.

Al
