New Times For Me

Well I went to the track last night and was pretty happy with the results.

My best time was a 12.41 at 111mph
also ran a 13.3 at 109mph after missing 2nd and another 12.45 at 112mph

Last time I went to the track I had some issues with the car and only ran a 13.4 at 99mph

Mods are upgraded turbo system with a 50trim some hks cams, clutch, bigger injectors and pump and exhaust. The car is running 25psi on 93 pump gas. It has stock drive tran other than the clutch and I drive it to the track with my 1 year old girl in the back seat so I really dont want to break it away from home but I Had a few 1.8 60fts and was pretty happy with that.

We are in Kc Mo right now for import face off and hope to get a Little better time so hopefully I will have a better number for you guys tomorrow.

Your only trapping 112 with a 50 trim???

Oh never mind after a closer look, you now have .50 trim. Well good luck and report back how you do.

2 step is at 5800 and at 10psi. Psi in the tires? I think around 35psi dont change them.

I did run a little better today but not by much. 12.39 at 112mph with a 1.76 60ft. I will have a video up soon.

Border line terrible? I dont think it is that bad, not saying that super good but there was 4 other evos there today and mine was the 3rd fastest, the fastest one was like a 11.7 i think and there was 11.9 or 12.0 one then my 12.3 and then there was a 12.4 which I talked to the kid for a while and he was running the stock turbo and manifold just had some cams and exhaust and he was running 33psi and with a trap speed at 118/119 mph and there was a another running 12.5.

Now I know that there is more in the car but for what it is I am still happy with it. I dont know how close the hp is that evo scan is but mine said that I only had 341hp and 299tq.

Well Im happy with it. I know I could get a little more out of it but I dont want to find that breaking point lol. Really dont want to break when Im 3 1/2 hours away from home and drove the car there, so the getting into the 1.7's I was happy and it felt good.

Really because I have a 50 trim turbo I should be in the 10s at 125ish? I might be a newbie on this site but im not a newbie to the car world and the size of your turbo doesnt make the time or the mph of the run. Maybe if I maxed the turbo out and had a crazy tune on it and ran the **** out off the car you might see that, but sorry its not going to happen Im going to keep the car safe. The guy that was running 12.4 at 119mph was running a stock turbo at 33psi sure it may fall off but he is making more power than me because he is maxing out his **** and probably has it tuned to the max for what he has.
