I'm kinda wondering what to do next though maybe you guys can help out.

I hate to change anything up but wouldn't mind the added help to get into the 9's and since i'm trying to get prepared for next season's racing i'm wondering if any changes should be addressed now.

- Throw on an .82 housing
- Switch to 24" full slicks
- Swap to either an HTA 3586 or PTE 6262 or something similar
- Do some head work

What do you guys think i have a feeling it will take a mid to high 9 sec car to compete out here next year.

LOL, Awesome!. We went the same times all last year and it just didn't happen. I'm sure you will get it though. Car looks great and is moving out.

Thanks Em yours is all the more impressive being on the stock shortblock though

By the way when you made those passes was it w/ the forward facing manifold and .82 housing?

I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to swap to that or at that point just send it out for that and the hta treatment together or just go w/ a Precision unit

I just need that 1.4x 60' but all the planets must be in alignment it seems

imho keep going for the nine on this setup, it's just a matter of less than a tenth, skip dinner on the way and run the gas lower and remove a couple extra interior bits and bumper beams

Hey cwill, pats car is still on a regular 35r with .63 hotside. I think its around 585whp on their md dyno. I think mid 30s or so on boost. I suggested the 6262 or 6265 if he wanted a little more topend.

Thanks for the advice CWill as stated prior it's a standard 35r .63.

The logs show a consistant 37psi of boost from 1st-4th gear.

Leaving the line w/ 20psi of boost.

It makes about 575ish on our MD and we've tried to push it a bit more but it was at the point of diminishing return

How much power do you think can be had by a straight swap to a 6262 or 6265?

Again i don't mind sticking w/ this set-up to get the 9 sec slip as i know it will be much more gratifying but i'm just trying to think ahead a bit and not have to push the car so hard to stay in the hi 9 sec range.
