Don't worry about reaction time if you're just at Test n Tune. You can wait until the light goes green and hit the 2step for as long as you want and then launch. Your time doesn't start until you leave the line.

Definitely work on the 60'. 1.7 should be pretty easy to get. If you're good 1.6s or better. That will get you into the 12's for sure. Do you have NLTS? I think it helps a good bit.

No I don't...I don't even know what NLTS is....I wanted to see how my car ran after the tune...I actually thought I would of been in the twelve but I guess I wasn't...from my mods list i thought I would be in the low 300 but it doesn't seem like it...more like in the 280's...which is weird...

102 sounds about right for the 280 hp area, but for your mods and hp seem low, you need a tune to get the most out of it. I ran 13.1 @ 104 with 290 whp in my evo 8. That was just intake/exhaust and tune at 25 psi.

I noticed you said you turned it down to 34 psi, I'm assuming you meant 24 psi?

Yea he ment tire psi. I suggested he should lower them from the 40psi he drove in on for a better 60ft

As the others stated I think you need to go down the track a few more times. I would expect a car with those mods to trap 110mph or somewhere around that. Keep trying and good luck.

You are not slipping it fast enough. You want the higher rpm launch so you dont bog off the line.

Definitely get a tune! I went 12.4 @ 108 without third gear with just an exhaust and tune on my Evo 8 turbo.

I got a street tune...I actually thought that with that tune I would be hitting the high 12's at least....but I don't know if it could be the tune or what....maybe I need a dyno tune....and i probably would be where I want...i was sad that I was making around 280's with my mods

Yeah I meant tire pressure...I am also running boost 25lbs going down to 23lbs by redline and I am only making 280's whp...that just makes me sad for my mods...I got it street tune not dyno tune...don't know if that would be the problem...

evo VIII with cams is just like a IX's mivec power wise, and the 10.5 hotside helps alot too... but evo IX turbo is deff FTW if you can get one cheap...

You never dump it unless you want to break something. Its a fast slip and it took me a while to get it down. Im still not perfect though. Now I will have to relearn the new clutch since my stock one went out
