1/4 Run, What you think

Today I went to the 1/4 mile today and ran my car twice. I launched the car at 6k rpm. For my first run I ran a 13.3 with a 60ft at 1.9 and trap speed at 105. I know it sucks.. Then I ran again and I ran a 13.2 with a 60ft at 1.8 and trap speed at 102. Little better.. Today was my first time ever running the quatermile so I was still newbie on how to run the quarter mile. According to the website u can give the weight of the car and the trap speed and it will give u a horsepower rating. I think it is to wheel horse power. According to them my car is about 289 whp. I got it street tune. the mods for my car are
HKS TI turboback exhaust
DIY ported exhaust
DIY ported 10.5 hotside
K&N drop in filter
Ebay lower intercooler piping
Ebay ported 02 housing
Ebay test pipe
XS Engineering downpipe
Evo 9 bov
HKS 264 cams
ACT mb7-hdss

SO WHAT YA THINK...would I make more power and better time with a dyno tune and what ya think of my runs...does it match my mods...I don't mind whatever ya say...good or bad...it is good to me...

I think that you should get a few more runs under your belt. I think if you work on launching and shifting you can get better times with ur current setup. Its hard and took me a long time to get the ***** to drive the car hard I am always afraid to break something, but I hit 12.89 @ 102 and I have full turbo back (no cat), cone filter, intercooler and pipes from ets, boost controller and a self tune. i only run 22lbs on stock turbo. I believe with some work you will be doing better than I am for sure.
oh and I forgot to mention that my first run ever at the track as a 15.2 lolz so don't feel bad you did a very good job.

Heh, I was there yesterday. Got a 13.9 at launching it at 3000RPM. Was pretty scared to 2 step it because there were a few DSMs there and I think ALL of them broke down along with a black Evo. Went to go look at them and there were all on jacks. Didn't want to end up like them so I never got a good launch.

with the mods in my sig i went 12.1 @ 113 first pass ever with the car, full weight, 300lb driver, stock EVERYTHING else, 1.8 60', 7.8 @ 90 1/8th mile, and that was just street tuned driving the **** outta my car, Im SURE if you step up your launch and shifting, you will without a doubt hit mid 12's

With a great tune you can run the car in the 12's. Get more runs under your belt and your times will improve for sure. Good start though .

I saw your 13.2 run but the car next to you was very loud so that doesnt help. Next time lower you tire psi to 20 also. You did good for the run I saw. Maybe bounce off the 2step a little more to build more boost.
