If so, what would happen if I ended up putting bad gas after the flash on some other location? Would it cause detonation and harm the engine?

If not, what the hell can be wrong with the car giving such low knock threshold? If you remember correctly, you did say I had one of the stronger stock cars at 235whp...

What if I switched the ECU?
You are welome to come back anytime you want and we can reptest your car with some new gas and see if we can improve upon the tune and see where the knock threshold is.

The reason why we de-tune each car by a substantial amount and run them very rich is just for this reason. We add in a margin of saftey to avoid these problems. Also, the stock knock cocrection will retard your timing in such a situation.

Nothing is wrong with your car - it was just a few hp down from where it might have been and it was in the median for similar stock evos

Just installed my Defi BF boost gauge. It's showing 1.24-1.25 bars (to redline, thanks Al!). That translates to almost 18psi. Kinda low right?

Oh, where did you guys TEE off for your boost source? I TEEed off from the fuel pressure regulator solenoid cause the hose TEE given by Defi only fit that hose.

Time to put in the mbc that I have...
