was about the say thats a monster run to have 470 and run in the 10s. LOL usually form what i seen unless you have a beast car set up you have to be 500+ to even achieve that

470whp dynojet is enough to go 10's and trap 126, just need good tires and a good driver.

Although the OP might be making more since he had to shift to 5th gear, id say close to or over 500whp.

Good run, congrats on breaking the 10's.

What was your 60 foot time when you ran? what tires are you running? Drag racing is all about the launch.
We've all seen a 400whp Evo beat a 700whp Supra due to traction issues... just an example

it was only my second pass on this set-up, and it showed, 60 on that run was like 1.77 i think. it really was'nt a very good pass all things considered. like i said tires were blizzak snow tires.

pulling that time on snow tires is impressive. How much boost are you running? I would guess you could be approaching the mid 500's.
I just picked up an 80mm Red myself. I hope I can pull of some 10's passes in the future as well!
Be sure to keep us updated with dyno numbers and more track times.

Good god man either you're making 600WHP or you're a beast of a driver!

That trap speed says you're not making too much over 500WHP if at all. My car traps 125.xx and ran a best of 11.2 on SLICKS! It makes about 470WHP on a Mustang (not TTP's).

Again, your driving is awesome. I can't believe you even shifted to 5th!

thanks, i always thought about 440 give or take a few hp, shifting to 5th throws everything off a little, i would think. noted: evosick 2332 went 10.83 with a little less boost and stock bottom end, using bfgs! so i use that as the mark i should have at least gotten to, even thow it wasmy first time out with the red. but he's a little better driver then me. just doing a little bench racing since thats all we can do with a foot of snow out there
