Best pass was a 12.47@109 on a 1.81 60', but was not filmed. The stock clutch didn't like the 5.5k 2-step launch(sticky track didn't help) and slipped out of the hole every pass. On my last pass against the Talon, my clutch would not grab at all and I had to let out and feather the throttle before getting back on it. My goal was a 12.3, but I am happy with my times for only having 3 mods and a tune(and a slipping clutch).

Yeah, that sounds dead on for an Evo 9 with an intake/exhaust/mbc, and tune. I went 12.4 @ 110 on my 8 with those mods, before I started modding it. Nice runs.

 

12.4 with just intake, exhaust and mbc?? thats pretty good. btw do evo 8 have a two step already build in them at 5k, cause thats what i have heard from few people?

thats some good times for only those mods. i have exhaust intake cams and a tune and my best was a 12.7 but the mph were similar.

 

Thanks guys. It would have been quicker but the clutch just would not grab out of the hole and my 60's suffered. Track was hooking great too, but there was a good headwind which hurt my trap by a few mph.

 

Nice times. I also ran 12.4@110 w/ stock clutch,exhaust and tune. 1.70 60ft.

With your mods, 12.3-12.5 is the norm.
