depends on how you launch. when i bought my car i took it to the track the second day i had it...and towed it home like a noob i dumped clutch for five runs and blew up the t-case on the fifth, twisted the output shaft too.

Good news is I got aquainted with Shep very fast and had it all redone, live and learn.

Thats my fail moment haven't broken anything since though and I've had over 50 passes, recently replaced the clutch though.

Everything and anything really. I've been through quite a few t-cases (now have a Quaife diff), snapped a rear axle, snapped my output shaft on my trans, ripped teeth clean off of gears. It is a part of racing and if you choose to do it you have to understand what could happen. I have about 400 passes with my Evo since I bought it new in 2006.

How many launches do you have on the Quaife? Is there a noticable difference from the stock unit? Thanks.

I put a quaife in mine when i had it rebuilt, the launch feels much better now. The car seems to come straighter out of the hole and I don't have the one front tire spinning anymore.

I snapped a driver side rear axle clean in half, that's it. I have approx. 300-400 launches on the car.

I have not broken any thing with about 100+ launches. I even bought a spare t-case from Mike at AWD in case something does happen (it has been sitting for nearly a year now). I have had the same clutch in for about 2yrs+ as well. My advice is to simply not drop it and if you feel wheel hop let off. Everybody I have seen blow something attempted to "power through" the wheel hop so they did not lose the race and boom...
