I was on the OEM suspension/alighment... I would play around with the tire pressure. 24-5psi seemed like a nice spot for them, I left at 6800rpms and barely spun them.

yeap, they were exactly the same pressure. burnout and all, no go. Been 3 or 4 trips to the track now, Same track even. I treid driving the car once and it bogged for me with the low rpm LC so I dunno.. I just hope he can find a sweet spot for these things..I did however watch him blow the tires off multiple times and go nowhere, traps are 130 range, the car is heavy as well. Wearing on the edges of the tires so hopefully an alignment will help, mabye even strapping the front.
Even coming out soft and dumping they just spin, it has to be the alignment lol. The front lifts like crazy and turns camber positive. I believe he also just bought a set of Mike's drag coilovers, hopefully they will help.

Guys have already gone 1.4x sixty foots with the stock suspension. Alignment will help a little.... most of it has to do with the driver and the way the launch control is set up. Also, track prep on some cold friday nights when a lot of the street tires guys are running can be a bit slippery. Some twin discs are like an on/off switch and are really hard to figure out how to launch. It takes some time and quite a few trips to the track to get it figured out. A few more trips to the track and changes and I am sure the sixty foots will drop.

What he said ^ . Im not sure what tire pressure you others are finding works, but i set mine at 18psi and my two step is at 5750. Track prep is a must for any tire to work good. 1.58 best so far for me, and still getting better.

^^^ that seems to be a lot lower pressure than what most people run them at. Most people I hear about run them in the 23-26psi range. 18psi is pretty damn low...at least for an AWD car.

when you look at em it doesnt seem low. i even marked em to see if they were spinning on the rim. not that it matters, but im only laying down 390 wtq. I ran them at them at 25 the first few times and when i dropped to 18-19 my 60'went from 1.66 to 1.61 then a 1.58 . i set them up cold for 18-20. they heat up and gain 2 psi consistantly.

We have another car in the 1.4's on these tires. Junior called me from a track rental earlier. One of his customers cars just cut a 1.47 sixty foot. This same car went 1.50 just a few weeks ago. So now thats two 1.4's on two different cars at 2 different tracks. All this from the tires that would never work.

Nice pass, I'll take a set of non-working tires. Thanks.
