I promise its a completely stock 2006 Evo IX RS drivetrain. 5 speed transmission with Twin exedy clutch. The only clutch I've used on all my Evos so far. I've owned a few.

My very first run in April, I hit rev limit before the 1/4 and had to shift to 5th gear. Since then I've raised my rev limit so I can stay in fourth. I think an Evo 8 4th gear will slow this car down honestly.

Ya he got too excited. We had been out there all morning trying to and tring and trying. This run was at 1:40 in the afternoon. I was getting hungry, tired, thirsty, frustrated but the car was going faster and faster. I begged to let me run until I hit the number I want. Practice a bunch to get my 60' and 1/8 mile to get better. Then went for it.

I figure I have at best another .1 and thats at the very best perfect scenerio, driving, weather, traction, performance etc.

No V7 or any tephra mod. Stock tuned rom. I don't know how to use the NLTS from tephra. My foot like to sit on the pedal and I'm not about to change that. Besides I think the NLTS is for people who can't shift fast enough.
I call this style- Full throttle shift-- been doing it since good ole honda days.

You tell me where its gonna fit my driving. I had to keep my foot off the clutch pedal to use NLTS otherwise it cuts me off. It works for some but its not for me.

Its not any better on the trans. I rebuild alot of them. Its only bad if you can't get it in gear.

im not about to tell anyone how to drive and if that was going on, sounds like your ntls was set up wrong. if what i said doesnt apply to you, hence, it works for most people, then kudo's to you for not needing it. I happen to like it. Thats all. again, congrats on the good pass.

It wasn't mine. It was someone else's.

When are you running next? I'm now considering putting a cage in the car. I really don't want to I have to play it safe from here or slow it down.
