Coilovers and Drag Racing

Here is a little background info. I have an Evo X lightly modded with about 340whp (Dynojet). I have an Exedy Twin HD with a two-step set at 6,000rpm. I have been having trouble getting traction while launching. I have a good set of soft street tires (Toyo R1R), and I still spin.

I also have coilovers, and would like to know if there is an optimum setting for drag racing? I was hoping by maybe adjusting the stiffness settings I could get better traction out of the hole.

I have been setting them to 50% stiffness for the front, and 100% stiffness for the rear.

What have some of you been setting your stiffness to in the front and rear, and with what results? Please give #'s in percentages of stiffness.

You have the front setting spot on and the rears should be 100% soft, not stiff. That should help a lot

Maybe that's why I am spinning all 4...lol.

Actually, my thought was to keep the rear stiff to keep more weight on the front tires since that's where the most weight is. But I guess the rear never really "digs in" if it is stiff.

Thanks for the advice.
