My Dynoflashed EVO vs pretty modded WRX

Went to the track today and had tons of fun!!! Went with my EVO, 2, 2003 modded WRXs, 2003.5 Mazaspeed Protege and a 1997 Eclipse GS-T.

My mods: AEM Intake, Buschur Muffler Delete Pipe, Dynoflash running at 16-17psi

WRX mods: 3" Turboback, Manual Boost Controller, TurboXS UTEC, STI hood scoop

Here's the slip...

The other modded WRX had about the same mods as the one I ran against and his best time was a 13.5....The Mazdaspeed Protege had a boost Controller and his best time was a 15.0...The Eclpise had a boost Controller and his best was a 15.0

I can't wait to see my times when I get a boost controller to hold 19-20 till redline...

By the way, there was a SRT-4 with a Stage 1 running a consistant 14.0 at 102-3

Why are you only running 16 psi?

Nevermind, I see you have the muffler delete. I guess you lost a few psi because of it.

Sorry about that...hosting problems..

After the install of the Buschur muffler delete pipe I gained power but lost boost...I haven't tried butting the stock muffler back on to see if boost goes back up.

I had better luck with an SAFC. You need a boost controller.

Will a Manual Boost Controller put me in the high 12s, say 12.9 maybe?
