I was really considering this turbo.. Seems very promising..

Looks like if you go to 17" wheels for a lighter setup your gonna have to push the built stroker for the single digits...

I will eventually put RX7 wheels on with hoosier QTP's (26") so with the lighter RX7 wheels and hoosiers it should net me what I want.

Ya my rota rims/ MT drag radial combo right now weighs in at 49lbs a piece

The FD RX7 wheels with hoosiers will weigh in at 34lbs a piece, so that's 60lbs (15lb loss per corner) of unsprung rotational weight lost for all 4 So I would expect to see some gains just from that along with higher traps. We shall see.

3rd gear I see 37lbs by 4850-4900rpm weather depending (temp wise) In a hot 90 degree day it will be around 5krpm. But in cool 60 degree weather it comes on like a freight train!

Well I went back out to the track yesterday with the Hoosier QTP slicks on FD rx7 wheels. And once again our track only sprayed the track once the entire day, no traction.
The only pass I got a "decent" 60ft with a 1.53 I blew the lower I/C pipe off 300 feet before the trap and ran a 10.14 @136mph That was my 9sec pass right there had the pipe not blown off.
Next few passes after that were with mid to low 1.60ft's just lighting up the hoosiers. It seriously felt like I was launching this thing on the street
10.13 @141mph with a 1.60 60ft.
10.21 @141mph with a 1.62 60ft.
10.21 @141mph with a 1.64 60ft.
The track just got worse and worse as the evening went on. So after my last pass I called it a night and just wait for a better day. Might make a trip to las vegas for the IFO event on Oct. 17th. We will see.
Here are a couple of pics of the car with the hoosiers on

No clue, if I were to guess, I would say from 720-750whp. Who knows, I don't really care about dyno numbers, as long as it runs numbers at the track I'm happy. But it seems I'm at the limits of the 2.3L stroker rpm wise, running out of RPM through the trap (8700rpm). So I may just build a 2.0L over the winter so I can take it further.
