It was at Thompson raceway. Very nice people there. We are going to try and head back this week sometime.

Don't believe everything you hear.

Who in their right mind would spend millions of dollars making a down hill track? That's just stupid. 42 looks down hill on video because the shut off is up hill.

LOL ! at thinking they allow tracks to be down hill.... come on man.. sounds like ttp bs.

with that said i dont see 150mph being touched anytime soon on a stock block.. that is definitely going to hold
for a long time. you guys & girls are nuts.

Congrats! 150 MPH is just silly. Any idea what the car weighs?

I think NHRA tracks can have a 2% up or down grade. so it could be 26 feet difference. but most the time the shut down is uphill causing a optical illusion.
Thing is moving for sure. 150 is no joke.

Just to make sure it's real...

I did, maybe, quite possibly fail on the video though... I was in a safe position off to the side for the other passes, then the man said "hey, it's ok if you're back here, go ahead." Now, it's been a quiet day, so I took that to mean: There's no cars behind you.

So the pass is great, and I see out of the corner of my left eye some monstrous V8 creeping beside me and he proceeds to do his fabulous burnout 2 feet away from me. Really? So I held on as long as I could (because I'm a little sissy and I've seen those big-*** cars get out of hand) then zoomed out (because I HATE videos when the cameraman stays zoomed way in and wiggles the camera) then zoomed back in on the scoreboard... and it was out of focus, and most likely too late anyhow. Then I hear Jesse Ford: "One fifty, one fifty!! F%#@ YeAH!"

Man, I failed. I was put in charge of Gleason's camera for ONE day, and I failed. I can only hope you can see the 150 through the zoom out.

BUT... I got some pretty legit pics of the slip

Why is it on all the videos of fast STM cars you can hear a Latin American man yell with excitement in the back ground? First Justin in mine, now Jesse in Chris, mark is up next lol
