First time at the drag strip...ugly slip inside...help brake it down
So decided to take the evo to the track before I put it away for winter. It was my first time. I know my 60 foot was horrible. Video to follow.

best advice I ever got is dont go drag racing like you are scared of breaking your car. Pretend you are driving someone elses car and you dont care if it breaks lol.

pm'd. Just saw your on all seasons. But regardless controll the wheel sping with clutch control. I would say 6K will work although I always use and recommend 6500 on a regular street tire. Good luck.
Your car is running very well. Keep practicing - you'll drop 1/2 second and pick up another MPH or so just with a 1.7 60' (definitely attainable w/a 6000 RPM good launch) and will be 12.2x's with some practice on your 1-2 shift.

I 100% agree with this statement. If you want to go as fast as your car is capable this is what MUST be done.
