New personal best for my car this past weekend. This is the first time the car has hit the track in a long time, 3rd pass out for the day...

The car was still on low boost with a soft launch, still getting a feel for how everything is reacting. Its definatly gonna go faster soon.
Setup:
MDR 2.0l - NON ported head.
Ported STOCK throttle body and intake manifold
MDR Forward facing turbo kit with shearer manifold.
Precision 6765 T3 journal bearing turbo.
ProEFI Pro128 ECU
Twin Disk, Shep transfer case
Stock transmission, stock driveshaft
Fuel: Ethanol
Ignition: SPOOLINUP COP KIT, THANKS MATT WITH SPOOLINUP!
More to come soon this friday night...

It doesnt like to be ninja shifted especially on the 2-3 shift. the first pass i tried to go to fast on the 2-3 and it didnt go in then second pass i knew i had to slow down the 2-3 shift so i wanted to make up some of that time in the other shifts and ended up trying to go to fast on the 1-2 shift and she blocked me. thats why in the vid the shifts dont seem as fast as they should because i just wanted to shift her slow and get it into every gear. a rebuild will be needed for 8's i believe, i dont think i will be able to pull it off with that slow of a shift but we will see.
golden eagle sent us one of their new intake manifolds to test so we will be going to the dyno to test that out tomorrow evening. hoping it will keep the power going up and gain 30 or so hp. a full review thread will be made after all data is gone over.

Contrats on the 9sec run!
Just curious, why run a non ported head, especially with such a bigger turbo loving the top end of the rpm? Your mph is already really good but I bet there is a lot more left...
PS. any idea of the weight of the car with driver?

. A ported head is soon to come, same with replacing the IM and TB. This pass was 32-34psi. We have taken it to 45 on the dyno, but I'm still getting used to the car for now, so we will see what happens as the boost progresses
. The car weighed 2550 with myself (~140) before the cage was put in. This particular track did not have a scale so we will see what she weighs in at Friday night hopefully at our local track.....

I believe its the Transmission thats hold back the shifts. In stock form it cant handle the 9K+ shifts lol. I will be rebuilding the tranny soon just want to see what I could do with as much stock stuff as poss, but i think to hit my goal of 8's the tranny is going to have to be done and have a longer 1st gear to push back the 1-2 shift. going to the track tonight with a little more power to see what happens. prolly wont get very many runs as my local track is very strict on NHRA rules. will keep everyone posted on results.

cool !!!!! congrats for a new set up and time!
As far as the head goes, to be honest this is our street car setup with a little bigger turbo

Believe it or not, there is still more weight to go down. However, we are about to put some weight back in with the chute, eventually a halon system and some other stuff. However lol, there is a stock seat in the car now...nice new kirkley sitting here next to me that just came in to be installed.
