Finally raced the Evo again! 9z I got!!
Finally had a chance to take the evo back to the track. I didn't really do any changes power wise to the car since last year, just driveline and suspension.
Shep DogBox is in the car now along with d2 coilovers, wilwood small brakes so I can run 15's and 24.5" mh slicks.
I took the car out on the street fri night and it pulled PERFECT! The thing was a monster! So we loaded it up and took it to us41 sat.
All day at the track the car was breaking up bad, blowing spark out hard especially in the higher gears. I think I am past the limit of my ignition system and the extra load of the car being on slicks, 2step launchs, big rpm was just to much for it. That will be addressed very soon! Then back to the track we go for some real passes!!!!
I made 5 or 6 passes, and only made it to the end once
On the 3rd pass I launched decent and just ran it out. Sputtering the whole way but I was so pissed by then I wasent lifting!

I just kinda laughed to myself after I got the slip, it felt horrible and sputtered my way into the 9s for the first time.

I made a few more passes even had a 1.48 and a 1.44 60' but the car was missing so bad I aborted the passes.
