What did he run with the evox?

I think his best pass was 12.7 @ 109. He kept saying the launch control wasn't working well with the new turbo and when he tried to launch with just the brakes, it wen't even slower.

 

Im sorry this thread is a bit old but to the OP, did you or does anyone power shift? I know it can be very harmful and i didn't know if you guys were doing it to get the 1/4 down. Im going to mellon tuning next week and plan to get to the track asap afterwards. Im sure my car isn't capable of 11's but i want to be as close as possible. It's an 05 Mr 8 with BR FMIC street, HKS 272 cams, Fidanza gears, Open Filter, stage 1 shep TC, TBE, Forge MBC, BR LICP. He plans to tune 24-26 psi depending on the car itself. Anyone see 11's on this setup? I figured 12.3-12.5 on the typical driver.

 

That thing's movin' pretty good for a stock 8 turbo car.

 

Ive clicked off 11's with a full tank of gas in an SSL with junk in da trunk! haha Its nice when people are like... this is a full car? you got **** in the trunk? full tank of gas? etc .. and you just ran what?!

Unfortunatly -- I had fouled plugs =( so I only mustered an 11.6@128 lol

Dont forget -- 05's had the biggest evo8 turbo.
