I reviewed all of my logs yesterday and the car still has some more on tap. First, all of my runs minus the first one were 100% knock free and I believe the first run was phantom knock. I only had 15 degrees max total timing. I had it set to 17, but must have lowered it prior to the track and the car was running good so I didn't touch my tune at all. Also, my AFR's were on the rich side, mostly 11.1 but falling to 10.8 by 6500 rpm. I think I can get another MPH out of her and with some better driving, start knocking on 11's door.

This was the first time I dragged my car. It was actually the first time I launched it too because I don't like to launch aimlessly on the street. I'm pretty excited that I got a 12.3 with a total of 3 passes ever.

 

Yes! Next time I will be a little more aggresive with the tune, make sure my tools and extra baggage are out as well as the spare tire and tool kit. I would LOVE to clock an 11.9 with a full weight 05 SSL on pumpgas.

 

I didn't see your car do any runs yesterday so I guess you did them before I got there. I don't see you having a problem running a high 11 on pump gas even with your current tune as long as you remove all the random junk in the trunk, haha & maybe drop the 60 ft into the 1.6Xs. With a 1.6 60 ft I ran a 12.00 with my MR, completely stock longblock, stock turbo, 6 spd on 93 oct. Tuned for 25 psi & I am pretty sure I had a boost leak too. I wanted to get 1 more run in that day but they closed the track because it started to rain. I know I would have had an 11.9X the next run...ahhh!!

06MRevo - Yes, I just got back from my third and final pass when you asked if the parking spot was taken or not. I ran a 12.3 and called it quits. That was my goal for the day.
