I was talking good old 93 octane.

Your set up was radical and light....so let me correct myself.

A 3200 pounds EVO stock turbo on 93 octane pump gas will get pull from a roll by a 400whp SRT.

from a dig? a waste of gas if you ask me......I had a srt many years ago and the reason I got rid of it was wheel spin on 1 and 2 without even going 3/4 throttle.

Hahaha love the comments. I'm sire the driver would be the tale tale decider. But if not many srt 4 owners haven't heard of s 3 or 4 k kit for a claimed 400whp I have to question how accurate the company is in the claim. Either way Evo all the way!

In that case, we have 93 octane, full weight Evos trapping 117 here no problem. I still don't think the Evo would have a problem. Even if the SRT traps more, if it spins even for a second, that Evo is just going to walk away. The Evo also has better gearing, and a higher shift point, which adds to our advantage.

Did some 40/55 rolls with a 50trim srt4 making 380whp, it wasn't a pretty sight for the neon. Traction prob played a roll too.

Why not ask who has the fastest time on a road course , but if you live your life 1320ft at a time I guess thats ok too..

I have raced a 50 trim srt4 that was putting 400 whp and i was putting down 380 whp on pump with an evo9 turbo. We raced from 40 and a 60mph roll. An i tell you it wasnt pretty. I pulled like 4-5 cars from the 40 roll and about 2-3 cars from a 60.

A stock turbo Evo can absolutely, without a doubt, hold it's own against a 400+ whp SRT4, from a roll or from a dig.
i second this... because i had a guy who has a srt4 and went to a stage 4 mopar kit... and we ran from a dig he lost... and then from a roll and he still lost...
my evo had a hks intake and hks exhaust at time...

hypothetical roll "racing"

Drag racing minus the most exciting/difficult part, launching: a practice in trying to make incomplete cars seem like they aren't crippled wastes of money. Tell your friend to waste his money on a car with no traction, and then meet you at the strip to prove how silly it is. But at end of the day, eliminating the driver factor is hilarious, because that's really all that matters, if you don't have the ***** or skill to actually line em up what's the damn point. Stop focusing on how fast a car should be, and worry about how fast you, and your friend actually are.

no traction? im cutting 1.6 with fwd car that makes over 400tq.
7.4 1/8 etc

good rubber, decent coilovers and driver mod is all you need.

yeah I focus more on the trap speed when I drag race.it tells me how much power my car makes. I don't drag raace to impress you or your friuends or my friends.

I make adjustments to the tune while making 1/4 passes and I watch my trap speeds closely. that tell me if I picked up any hp while adding boost/timing while making sure there isn't any detonation..

*comparatively low traction, due to weight transfer during acceleration, as compared to other drive layouts.

What YOU can run is quite relevant, what I'm poking fun at is "will car x with mod y beat car z, ignoring the biggest factor"
