Stock Block/Turbo Evo IX SSL on 18s at the shootout...Video and slip inside

1st time at the shootout. It was tons of fun. Thanks to the BR crew for hosting it.

Any advice looking at my time slip would be greatly appreciated.

My car is the car on the right. The one the left had an FP red set-up and drag radials (I believe).

Car put down 356hp and 361tq on the BR Mustang Dyno

Here's a pic from another run:

The car was ran full weight minus: spare and front strut bar. Added weight were 2 sets of floor mats, stock sub, and toolbox. Drove my car to the shootout and back so finding places to store all my stuff was an issue.

Overall, I am very pleased with the results. It was my 1st time on the track with this setup and 2nd time overall. Not to mention I'm driving on a torn left knee ACL. I was pretty happy with the 1.64 60 ft I managed with the 18s. It was my 1st time using the handbrake method and it worked Car qualified 3rd in the stock appearing. At round 2 of eliminations, I lost b/c I either had a boost leak or fouled my plugs (as I was on my 2 step a little too long). I was winning the race too up until boost dropped. Either way it was a good race and fun.

Hey man, I'm Jesse, I had the BBY Evo you raced in the 3rd round. That's a really good MPH for an 11.6! It was a blast and hopefully you got your issue sorted out. I still think it was cause you were on the 2 step for a tad too long. Glad to see you made it home alright and I look forward to our "rematch" next year! Great job again!

What's up Jesse! Thanks. I actually had a better mph of 116.99 on another run. Good driving on your part. You ran some good *** times with your set-up. If I remember you were on stock pipping, 02 and evo 8 turbo...that's pretty good. BTW Thanks for coming to check up on the car after the run. I bought new plugs and I'm doing a boost leak test tonight. I think you are right about the 2 step. Next year

Great 60' and solid pass on the stock turbo
OT, did you fill the holes in your trunk or do you have them covered w/ stickers?

^ Thanks.

All the holes in the trunk have been filled, including key hole. Side note: 2 holes were installed to fit the lip spoiler b/c I didnt feel comfortable with it being held by only 3m tape

I'm personally kind of shocked at that 60ft with 18's and General all-seasons. Best i ever did on 18" street tires was a 1.66. Good work!
