Unfortunately, I didn't really take before pictures but I have two pics where you can see the difference between where I ported and where it wasn't. Most of the porting I did was to smoothen out the flow where the pipes were welded together. Any opinions and tips are welcome.

I have the same dump and the lip near the downpipe flange bothers me. Not sure if it really effects performance. I even thought of filling it with JB weld... lolol

n00b question, but is porting just smoothing out the inside of the metal?
or what is it exactly?
cause i hear about ported exhaust manifold as well and just curious as to what it is

Porting the inside is typically used to increase the diameter (or make it larger) so more air can flow through
