This girl's running 12.5 in her X.

Finally got some seat time!

I had a slow start to the night. First pass I'm lined up with a Mustang (please don't lose to this Mustang!) He's got his helmet on, I got my Suomy with the nekked mermaid. We launch, I hit second and was pulling, I had him... and missed third. Mother FU^%&*R!!

Back in the staging lines, I'm doing the 2-3 shift. I got this. Don't miss any gears. Now I got this old-school white Camaro with Hoosiers in the rear next to me. It's kinda loud... but he doesn't have a helmet. I got this. I'm not missing third.

First gear, clutch down, revving to 4,500.... banged second, smoked this guy... went for the next gear and slammed it in... to... FIRST! Stomped the clutch pedal and saw the rpm's hit 8,500. Mother FU^%&*R!! I wait, listen for the 4B11 guts to hit the pavement... but nothing. Sounds good, feels good. Whew. Lucky girl. 8,500 isn't that bad, but still. Lets not do that again!

Lesson learned. If you want that gear bad enough... you're gonna get it!

The rest of the passes went well. I need to launch harder and bang second faster. But I beat the rest of the cars I raced that night. One was a Honda wagon... One was a new G8 and I forget the other. I'm happy with a 12.5 @ 111. I actually called that exact time earlier in the day!

Awesome times. Try using the launch control. Helped me hit 1.7s since it builds boost. Bet that driveshaft helped out BIG time

I'm still a little concerned about the stock clutch so I'm not really giving her all she's got. 21,000 miles on this clutch.

Waiting on a new test subject to come in... Then back to the track!

Yeah we got that pill out too. We got some cool stuff coming in for the X so I'll have my hands full soon enough and I'll let that limited rap in first on the launch.

Clutches are wear items like brake rotors, you should abuse them that way

I see your slips are all done in the right lane. Did you ever see what the left lane was like? Great times though. Keep up the good work.

The right lane is generally the one the big muscle cars take. Seems to be more rubber in that lane, so it's stickier. Not that it matters to me just yet, but I take the right when I can.
