i was using my 2 step which is set to 5875 and boost was around 10psi. and i was slipping the clutch as much as i could. there was times where i let off the clutch too early and it would hop off the line instead of rolling out smoothly

my tires are firestone firehawks indy 500's and they were at 25-26 psi

i'm trying to get there my self. by the end of the month i am trying to see low 12s and by mid summer hoping to be in the 11s. congrats !

 

Man, I have about the same mods and trying to do the same Last year I hit 12.2@116 with a crappy 1.9 60'. Ever since I blew my trans up, I've been very timid on launching. Going this Sunday to MIR and trying to hit the 11's...on snow tires with a not in good shape BBK I think my best 60' was 1.7 and I got locked out of 4th, bought motor mounts and solved that problem. I really need to shift a lot quicker. Congrats on the run!!!

man thats not bad to hit a 12.2 with a 1.9 60ft. it took me a while to hit 11s. the one thing that held me back was my street tires. they weren't gripping as much as they should have. with every shift the tires would chirp. the car was only barely building 25psi before. but on the 11s passes it was hitting 26psi with the new street tires.

i just ordered a "better" intercooler so hopefully it can help hold 28psi and with a retune i hope this makes the car hit a lower 11s pass.

im worried about the tranny and T/C too. mine are still stock but i hope they hold for that lower pass and until i can get them rebuilt.

shifting is definitely key as well. i feel like i shifted faster this time around. i learned to not push the clutch pedal all the way down since its not needed to make the gear change
