Nice Congrats Good way to start the year.Tell your pit guy to not pull pin in the same direction chute cable is going.You can pull cable at same time as your pulling pin and poof chute is out on the line that sucks ask me how i know.Dump laundry earlier under load.Great celebration dance btw.

The time slip was in the video. The motor is a half filled stock block, stock crank, Aluminum rods/pistons, Stock unported head with Huge cams and supporting valvetrain. Turbo is a GT4202 non-ball bearing. With this setup on 35psi it will make right around 670whp. We have made as much as 800whp @ ~45psi before but have never been down the track with that power. We will soon though. Transmission is manually shifted with a ratchet shifter and has replacement stock clutches, full line pressure, and a shift kit.
Good advice on the safety pin, I'll bring that up for sure. The reason he deployed the chute so late he wasnt planning on using it that run but decided it wasnt stopping quite fast enough. Any other time its done about 15-20ft before the stripe.
