AWD Spec D2 Coilovers
Sorry if this subject has come up before but i cant seem to find what im looking for so I thought id make a thread about it.
I Got a set of AWD Spec D2 coilovers and hoosier QTP tires on Rx7 wheels.I would like to know whats the best damper setting for these coilovers and anything else that would be relevant in benificial to drag drag racing such as wheel alignement settings, ride height etc...
thanks guys

I am by no means a drag racing expert. Or even regular. But I would shoot for 0 degrees of camber front and rear. So you have the most rubber on the ground.
I would also shoot for a touch of toe-in both front and rear for better straight line stability. Maxing out caster will also make the car more forgiving at high speeds.
Not really sure on ride height or shock settings. But I would assume the softer the better for more weight transfer.

Keep it simple dude. These cars aren't foxbody mustangs where they have alot of chassis flex so they are pretty easy to setup for drag. After setting your ride height, get a factory spec alignment. Set the front c/os to complete soft, and set the rear to complete soft. Then just stiffen the dampening in rear until you get best (and most consistent) 60' you feel the car can produce. I ended up with mine about three clicks from complete soft in the rear.
