Well perfect weather and track condition today, so i decided to take my exhaust of the car, just runn on the DP and took the stock air filter out

the car is tuned with 24 psi boost on stock Evo III 16g turbo

best resaults of the day where

the car is light, basicly no interior..

stock turbo, stock cams, stock ic pipes, stock ic, stock ecu.

Suspenison D2 coilovers, Kosei k1 17x8 ligthweight wheels, Toyo R888 Tires.




I might in future change injectors and fuel pump and try maby e50 and turn the boost up a little more. I want to see 10.9 on this turbo IT HAS BEEN DONE!

Full mod list is

I bought the car with blown 7 bolt evo 3 engine rod came trough block

Bought 6bolt dsm engine, build it with manley pistons 9.0:1 compression and manley rods eagle crank and acl bearings + new oilpump

btw evo 3 comes stock with 9.0:1

it has stock ecu flashed with ostrich tunerpro

everything else is stock

3" downpipe, i took the exhaust out to avoid backpressure and it worked. Boost about 24-5 psi

total weight is 1160 kilograms = 2557 lbs without driver

i had another timeslip that was 11.72 with 1.66 in 60ft have no idea where it went.

just curious if you actually weigh your car? 1160 kilo is title and internet weight.
I have weighed two in the states (full weight) and they weighed 1300/1275 kilo.
interiors dont weight that much. so very curious how weight is so low ??

there it sits 1190kg, i have shaved about 30 kg since then.

I dont believe that scale is correct

weighed car today with near empty tank. with full tank it weighs 2820lbs.
evo 1 weigh less than evo 3. 10 kilos less?
my wheels and tires are light at 27lbs each. the wheels and tires you are running are closer to 37lbs ~40lbs heavier than my setup
I removed stereo equipment and ABS. ~20LBS
full interior and full trunk

your car has no interior and I assume bare trunk.
trunk carpet, spare, and jack weigh ~35lbs
interior carpet ~14lbs
passenger seat ~35lbs
back seat ~25lbs
your coil overs should be about ~12 lighter than stock?
no cat back ~35lbs

dont know what else you took out of your car but with the above your car should have weighed ~100lbs less than mine . not sure how your car is so much lighter. I wish my car was that light

 

what size toyo do you have? I have been considering running a larger tire myself. just cant decide how much taller to go

 

Well my old evo 9 was 3355 lbs on that scale, all i know that scale is accurate..

i changed the lugs to 5x114.3, and im running Kosei k1 17x8" in 35 offsett

you have to run coilovers and roll rear and front fender so it would fit.
