3k, you go out there at all?? i would really like to get more evos together, right now its me, luke (lilgsx) and my buddy eric, silver-white-and black respectively.

 

I very rarely go out there. Only once when my Evo had 600 miles on it. I usually go when my friend wants to go. He has a blown GT.
Anyway I'm just waiting for some mods and then I'd like to see if I'm any faster with them. Yeah I'd think it'd be great to have more Evo's putting on the show.

 

ok, went to the track tonight.. buddy with the other evo wasnt there but there was a silver sti, and we ended up going head to head, it was fun. Best two out of three, i lost the first one, but won the next two, heres the times:

so, i was obviously beating him only due to the quick reaction times, otherwise he would have walked all over me.. which is still pissing me off, that 60ft of 1.88 is awesome, but what the hell happens up top?!? i am losing it somewhere big time, i dont know what i am doing wrong. Just for an example, here is another run tonight not against the sti:

that 60ft is good enough for low to mid 13's, i dont know whats going on, it really bugs me.

By the way, for the rpm shift points:
launch-5000 (aggresive slip, stock clutch)
1st-6900
2nd-6900
3rd-7200

one of the runs i tried shifting at 6500 through all gears thinking it would keep me in the optimal torque band, but i ran a 14.0xx on that run, so nope.

 

Run out 1st and 2nd to the rev limiter, run 3rd up to 7,200. Try that and let us know how your times look.

I agree with Keith above. My best time came when I reved very high: 7400 in 1, 2, and 3rd. If only I could have gotten it to 7400 in 4th....
