thanks man. the 60 foot is terrible but i guess the 1/2 was a little quicker then normal so it made up the time.

thanks. next goal is tonight. hahaha. i want to try one more time to better the 60 foot times before i get a better tire. the goal is 9.89. i think i can do that if i get a 1.59 60 foot VS the 1.68 of the 9.9 pass. i just hope this track lets me run because last time when i hit 151 i was banned. ha.

Nothing is wrong with them I just want a real tire for what I am doing.

I am only alloud 1 pass. Anything over 135 I am told I am kicked out. So I hope I grab the right 60 foot

OK now that i am home i can type.

so i took the car to the track seeking a 9.89 pass or better. i felt i could do so much better being the 1st 9 second pass was off my chest. the stress level was definitely lower. anyways as i got to tech i had issues. they did not want me to run and gave me a list of reasons why. anyways the guy was nice enough and said i could run. i spoke to the guy at the tree and i told him i am only here to try out my 60 foots BUT i am going to be honest if i feel a good one im going to the end. he said Dan do what you got to do.

anyways my 1st pass felt great so i let it rip. i got my ticket and i ran a new best of 9.92 @ 150 with a 1.62 60 foot. not the best 60 foot but better then my 1.68 with the 9.998 pass. anyways i am banned from the track until i get a license, parachute, and full fire gear.

i did not get my goal of 9.89 but that is fine. i drove the car to the track. clipped off a 9.92 and drove it home. a true street car. i am proud of that.

anyways here is a vid my girl took. i am very disappointed it is terrible and she turns it off at the end. i dont understand her sometimes but whatever. i am glad she was there but she is no longer allowed to use my camera. you can here my buddy telling me to let off haha.

Good work. Do you plan on adding a chute and all that? Maybe for a street car you could make a removable one that connects behind the license plate.

yes i plan to add a chute to the car. i want it removable and have some idea's i want to talk to my cage guy about to see if its allowed. i need to lose the weight the chute will add as well. time to start thinking again.

 

thanks man. yea it was a goal of mine to drive to the track and run 9s and head home. i couldn't ask for a better turnout. the car is parked now for about 3 weeks until EVO/STI day where i hope to have slicks and all the BS required to run.
