As always we had a blast at this event this past weekend. It was great seeing old faces and meeting new ones for the first time. There's just something special about the guys/gals who go to the track and look to eek out the performance. It's a pleasure hanging out with those that have the same hopes and dreams.


I wanted to share a few photos of our experience and hopefully some of you guys can post up pics as well,,.,,,

 

Somehow in the turn of events, we ended up in the Street 16 finals,,,






And got first place,,,




This is the same Evo that took 3rd place at Buschur Shoot-out 2012




It Went 10.4 on the brakes-----





My wife driving her yellow evo didn't do so bad either --- 3rd place in the stock appearing heads up class!!





Funniest thing is that this car was built a few months ago out of spare parts out of our facility. We took her to Atco for some practice 2 weeks ago,,,






Swapped tires,,








And voila!!




Nyce1s was there to cover the story,,,

 

Who got 1st place in stock appearing?

 

Not sure,,, I think it was a silver evo.... Hopefully he chimes in.

I don't have any drag racing photos since I wasn't on the track. Only photos from the parking lot. I'm going to post them in Show & Shine.

Nice!!!--- Any pics/vids?? What color was it?? BTW--- What happened under the bridge in the semifinals??? Why did they switch you guys around at the last minute?

All I have is a few pics a friend took of our cars.. I was running all seasons with the gold wheels since my 18's are boat anchors.. And yes, thats my booootay!

 

Sweet!! I never got a chance to meet you since I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Unfortunately the Evo X guys haven't gotten much love at the dragstrip. We're going to spend a few track sessions with this car on our Evo 8 brake conversion testing a few rim/tire combos to see how deep we can get the 330ft times on street cars.

Kinda tired of seeing high mph slow et's outta the X's so we're going to devote a lil energy on them so that others have a path to follow.
