I asked this same question last month when I went to the track. No one responded so I kept trying to launch around 4k rpms. I kept bogging and getting 60' times around 2.2sec. It really killed my track times because of the lauching.

5-5.5k makes me nervous though

Yeah true but 2-3 launches won't kill your clutch. Lol I mean if you do it all the time it will.

Last drag night I went to, there was nearly no wait. If I hadn't parked the car and let it sit for an hour or so I probably could of gotten in 30+ runs

You probably didnt get much answers because this topic has been covered over 1009876574 times lol

-Take traction control OFF or OFF OFF. Up to you. Ive used both.
-Clutch ALL THE WAY IN.
-Gas all the way.
-Car is gonna hold RPM at about 5500. Dont do this for too long.
-With the gas all the way down, let off the clutch to launch the car. If you keep the clutch in for too long you will burn it so bad your car will smell like burnt clutch for 2 weeks. If you let it out too fast, car will bog down. Its REALY hard to get it right!

I was getting 1.8 times for the 60' using launch control. Are you stock?

My helmet hits the roof because of my height, causing me to angle my head towards my sunroof making finite control of th clutch a little harder than expected.

Car smelled like clutch for 3 days to be exact. Best 60' with said problem was 2.2s
